Sirmione Thermes, Aquaria and Villa of Ceddars Garda Thermal Park
Lake Garda has been known since Roman times for its mild climate throughout the year and already Catullo extolled the qualities and in the nineteenth century the stay on Garda during the winter months for healing purposes had become a fashion as well as a real need. In Sirmione the presence of sulphurous thermal waters with healing properties from the spring Boiola was well known since 1500 but only with the enterprise of Procopio in 1889, which was able to canalize the waters managed to take full advantage of this natural wealth. With the passage of time they found other sources on the territory of the Garda, but with properties far below those of Sirmione, creating new thermal spas like the Garda Thermal Park Villa of the cedars in Lazise, the thermal baths of Bardolino and those of Pescantina. Hotel Smeraldo is located in an excellent position to reach Sirmione Thermes, but also the other spas of Lake Garda.
Therme di Sirmione
The two healing centers of Terme di Sirmione are center Catullus and center Virgil and these are located respectively in the historic center and in the hamlet of Colombare, both a short distance from our hotel in Sirmione.
Aquaria Terme di Sirmione
Aquaria is the wellness center of the Terme di Sirmione, a large swimming pool with thermal water that enjoys a splendid panoramic view of the lake, located in the Catullo spa centre, in the historic center of Sirmione and reachable in a few minutes on foot from our hotels in Sirmione.
Terme di Colà di Lazise – Villa dei Cedri
Villa dei Cedri, Garda Thermal Park, is a wellness center with a thermal water lake in the center of the villa’s garden of centuries-old trees, a relaxing natural setting with hydro-jet tubs, cave and recently built swimming pool.
