In Sirmione the presence of sulphurous thermal waters with healing properties from the spring\u00a0Boiola was well known since 1500 but only with the enterprise\u00a0of Procopio in 1889, which was able to canalize the waters managed to take full advantage of this natural wealth. With the passage of time they found other sources on the territory of the Garda, but with properties far below those of Sirmione, creating new thermal spas like the Garda Thermal Park Villa of the cedars in Lazise, the thermal baths of Bardolino and those of Pescantina.
